- All GP prepaid customers can enjoy dynamic emergency balance from minimum 13 Tk to maximum 200 Tk and it is completely service charge free.
- If the customer's main account balance is less than 30 Tk, he/she can avail Emergency Balance, Emergency Minute Loan and if the account balance is less than 5 Tk, he/she can avail Emergency Internet.
- To avail Emergency Balance, customers need to dial *9# or *121*1*3# (Free of service Charge)
- To know emergency balance limit, dial *121*1*5#; Customers with an Emergency Balance limit between 35tk and 200tk can take Emergency Balance amount by dialing *9# or *121*1*3#. If eligible limit is 13tk, customer will receive 15 minutes of talk time valid for 24 hours, and loan amount of 18tk will be deducted from next recharge. Customers with an eligible limit of 18tk will receive 20 minutes of talk time valid for 48 hours, a loan amount of 25tk will be deducted from next recharge. Customers with an eligible limit of 25tk will receive 30 minutes of talk time valid for 48 hours, a loan amount of 35tk will be deducted from next recharge. If any customer doesn’t want to take emergency minute loan pack, dial *121*1*5#
- Customers can use this Emergency Balance amount for any voice calls (excluding GP Hotline) and for any SMS (including SMS to ports)
- No Incoming SMS, Monthly Subscription fee and data usage will be charged from the Emergency Balance
- Purchased minutes, free/bonus minutes, bonus amount and main account balance will be used first.
- Dynamic Emergency amount will get refreshed monthly based on customer usage behavior.
- Emergency Balance is not applicable for any type of roaming usage
- Used Emergency Balance will be deducted from next recharge (the amount equal or more to the used Emergency Balance) by the customer. In case of partial recharge (lower than the usage of Emergency Balance), the remaining amount will be deducted from next recharge.
- If there is any outstanding Emergency Balance on a customer’s number, it will be adjusted from the recharge offer amount as well, regardless of the recharge channel (Retail/Digital/MFS, etc.) and the type of offer purchased (Minutes/Combo/Data/SMS/Service Bundling, etc.). In such cases, the selected recharge offer will not be activated. If any balance remains after the adjustment, it will be added to customer's main account.
- Upon expiry of the recharge validity, GP may suspend the connection after 60 days. If the customer does not recharge within this suspension period, any outstanding Emergency Balance dues will be adjusted from main account balance.
- The emergency balance amount can be used at any time.
- Customer can only avail further emergency balance after paying the full due amount
- Customers can avail Emergency Balance and Emergency Internet together, but if they have used emergency balance earlier, they can take Emergency Minute Loan only after paying the full due amount.
- No additional subscription or service fee is required for purchasing voice or data packs with emergency balance. For local calls with emergency balance, consumer customers will be charged as per their respective package tariff (e.g., Nishchinto, djuice, Bondhu, or Smile). For ISD calls, the applicable ISD rates will be charged.
- To check Emergency Balance amount, dial *121*1*2#
- If main account validity (recharge validity) got expired, then Emergency Balance service will be temporarily unusable.
- All other tariff, services and Pulse will remain unchanged.
- VAT, Supplementary Duty (SD), surcharge (SC) on base tariff is applicable.
