Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President and Program Director for Telenor India’s Network Transformation Program and held a series of progressively senior roles at Grameenphone including Head of Regional Operations, Head of Partner Management, and Head of Operational Excellence & Efficiency.<br><br>
Al-Amin has been groomed through Telenor Group’s flagship leadership pipelines, including the Telenor Accelerate Leadership programme and the Telenor Accelerate Change Excellence Programme, alongside Telenor Core Leadership — equipping him to lead large-scale organizational and network transformation across markets. Al-Amin led major global standardization initiatives in Telenor and a solid contribution in Grameenphone’s operational excellence and Strategic planning.<br><br>
Al-Amin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), and an Executive MBA, majoring in Finance, from North South University. VoLTE (Voice over LTE) is a technology that enables voice calling over 4G. Also, users can experience HD quality crystal clear voice with faster call setup time. Without VoLTE, your phone must drop back to 2G and 3G during voice calls. VoLTE allows users to stay on the 4G network during voice calls and can continue to have un-interrupted high-speed 4G internet experience. VoLTE calls will be charged in exactly the same manner as 2G and 3G voice calls. There are no additional data charges.
